COMPANIES FOR CHRIST - Northeast Region

Encouraging & Equipping Leaders

FCCI consists of Christian business leaders who have a desire to integrate their faith, Biblical principles and the Holy Spirit with their personal and business lives. Here in the Northeast, our leaders are volunteers who donate their time, talent, tongue and treasure to minister to fellow Christian business leaders in the region.

The ministry is led in the Northeast by Drew Crandall.  Drew grew up in CT-NY-NJ, and his family roots in the Region go back 375 years to Boston in 1634.  He became a Christian on June 8, 1985 at a Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International breakfast in the Jonathan Edwards room at the Ramada Inn in East Windsor, CT.  Ever since that morning, he has known that he is called to be a "minister in the marketplace."

Three years after becoming a Christian, in 1988, Drew was led to start a Christian-based marketing and media business called
Keep In Touch . Shortly after he launched the business, he was reading a recent copy of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship VOICE magazine and read the testimony of a business owner who was a member of "Fellowship of Companies for Christ International." Intrigued by the concept of a ministry for Christian business owners, Drew called the FCCI headquarters in Atlanta for more information. Upon receipt, he immediately joined FCCI. He and his wife went to their first FCCI conference in 1989, where the Lord inspired Drew to return to Connecticut and begin an FCCI work in the Northeast.

Drew started the "Greater Hartford Chapter" of FCCI in 1991.  The group met consistently for nine years, from February 1991 to December 1999.  Drew then stopped leading the group, in order to launch a broad-based workplace ministry,
Northeast Christians At Work.  He resurrected the group in January of 2009.

In 1992, Drew was invited to serve as FCCI New England Region Director, for which he served until December 1999.  He organized annual FCCI New England Regional Conferences and led the growth of the ministry across the Region.

Drew was named FCCI Northeast Region Director in September of 2008.  "It feels really good leading the local Chapter and the Regional ministry," says Drew; "It's sort of like a homecoming.  The relevance and power of the ministry and the texture of the relationships are excellent."
